(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Used to have chickens 25 years ago and then no. Got chickens 3 days ago. My husband has never had chickens.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
6 pullets. 7 weeks old.
(3) What breeds do you have?
Silver laced Wyandottes. Gold Laced Wyandottes.
(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
Through a yahoo group I belong to.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I have an acre and a very large organic vegetable garden, fruit trees and herb garden with over 50 varieties. I will be getting pigs next spring. I love to garden, read and work on my computer.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I am married with no kids. Have two dogs that are big babies. I am a currently laid -off construction accountant and my husband has his own drywall business.
