Hi - just joined up. I bought 6 chicks yesterday. This is our first attempt at raising chickens - I've been reading about it for about a year and finally decided to act on it. They did well through the first night despite how cold it is. 2 Buff Orpingtons, 2 Isa Browns, 1 Barred Rock, and 1 Americauna.
