Gosh, you guys are such a welcoming bunch.

Not sure what I will do if I have some roosters. I like all my chickens so dont really want to get rid of them and CERTAINLY dont want to cull them. I guess I will just see how it plays out. We will have this temporary run that we are using now in the daytime as an extra once the stall has been converted and the larger permanent run is made and attached. The plan was to use that temporary one for the next (small) batch of chicks that we get and planned for next year at this time.

This site has been an amazing source of information. I really like it. I am a member of a horse message board and a shih tzu one (my puppy). I like the dog one but the horse one is rather cliquey (sp) and wont answer most questions that I have. Seems as if you guys are very interested in helping everyone, that's good and one of the main reasons for a board I think.

Guess I need to go out and help hubby with the coop now.
