I am so excited to finally be able to post that not only did my husband build me a beautiful coop, but our chickens are here as well!
We have 5 little beauties. One of each: Barred Rock, Easter Egger, Welsummer, GLW and a Gold Star. They were hatched the beginning of April.
Their names are; Martha (BR), Kipper (EE), Summer Sparrow (Welsummer-I have a Pirate fan hence the Sparrow part), Philippa MiddleHen a.k.a Pippa (GLW) and Saphira (GS)
My total brood includes 5 beautiful children, 2 dogs, 2 cats, 5 new chickens and a fabulous husband. As soon as I figure out how to post pictures, I will be asking the question that so many do... hen or roo?
