Hi. I just joined. Have had chickens off and on for about 14 years. At first did not have a fenced in yard and dogs got in and killed our chickens. Now entire yard is fenced and we have 9 chickens of all different breeds. Buff Orp, Delaware, Silkie, Salmon Faverolle, Golden Campine, White Cochin. Silver lace Whyndotte, Americana, and a black Astralorp. May not have spelled some correctly. Also have 2 cats and 1 dog. All of our animals have free access to entire yard but at different times. Looking forward to learning
more about chickens from this site. Our chickens are pets and egg layers.

Hi my name is luke im 21 years of age and about 6months ago i decided to get chickens and way what a fantastic experience it is i never thought looking after and bredding chickens was so much fun,its even better when you watch your first chick hatch and look at ya i love it,but if any one has any info they can offer me for future reference il be more than glad to listen thank you
