Hi Everyone, I'm new to the group, and relatively new to chickens. I joined a chicken co-op last spring so have a little (a very little) bit of experience with chickens. Hoping to get more info along the way here. We have 18 chickens and are only getting between 5 and 8 eggs a day at this time of year. Does that seem right? I know the lack of daylight in the winter and molting will cause a drop in production. But how do you know if it is too big a drop and something else is wrong?
THanks!
