I am new to the raising chicken experience. Right now I have onlt have 9 but I am wanting to raise more. I am also wanting to raise some quail. I am about to build a incubator and will be using a water heater thermostat for my light. I will be using a disco ball turner to make my egg turner since it is very slow. My question is, if I hook it up to the thermostat, will it turng continuous for several minutes be too long? I also need to know if I need air holes if I use a fan to circulate air. Thanks for any suggestions or advise..

Those are questions for the incubation sites - many people make their own incubators, I think they use computer fans, etc. But I have no technical abilities or know how.
