my name is Gail, I have had my chickens for 5 mos, I have 8 hens and 2 roosters. They might be a lot of work but I am having fun gathering eggs and watching my chickens. The grandkids love helping also. I just joined but i have already learned a lot from this group. Thanks

Welcome Gail! This is a great place for advice and ideas, I haven't posted much, but when I have a question everyone is helpful and respectful when answering. And gathering the eggs is the best part! My 2 children (and myself) love going out a few times a day just to see if there might be one more egg
