I just wanted to introduce myself as a new member to BYC. I am the proud owner of two chicks (for now). They are six weeks old. One I have identified as a barred Plymouth Rock and the other I am not sure but maybe a maran. Maybe y'all can help. As for the sex, uncertain of that also. There is a lot to take in and learning everyday. I have raised them since they were 4 days old. Help is greatly appreciated.

Thats a rooster. Looks like either a Cuckoo Marans or Barred Rock.
