Hello! I've been getting information from this website since when I first got chickens, but decided to sign up as I always have questions! I have two hybrids names Hilda and Skye who are around 2 years old. I love them so much and I am a massive chicken lover! At the moment the girlies are chilling in the sun and watching everybody in the garden, even though they have my dog watching them!
Glad I finally signed up! X

Aww...sounds like your girls are adorable!! I am glad you are enjoying them so much. I can't imagine life without my chickens. LOL I have a Black Australorp named Hilda!

But you have come to the right place for all the fun and learning! Make yourself at home here and if you have any questions, feel free to ask around the forums.

Welcome to our flock!

Thank you! Awh, Black Australorps are beautiful chickens! I have a Suffolk Blacktail also named Hilda, and a Mendlesham Blue named Skye, who came out white instead of grey! I will post some photos at some point! Thank you for the lovely welcome!

Hi :welcome

Glad you could join the flock! Hilda and sky sound like they are enjoying the sun. Mine to day are enjoying the sun and are out sunbathing today!! Many of us were lurkers before joining up. I was one for 2 years and so wish I had done sooner. My chickens are usually the ones watching the dogs when they are free ranging in the garden. I love watching chicken TV it's so much fun seeing how they interact with each other.

Hope you enjoy BYC I am sure you will everyone here to help and very friendly.
Enjoy all the chicken chat :frow

Chicken TV is sure entertaining isn't it?! They are always so busy and fun to watch! The constant sunbathing, scratching, pecking, preening, dirt bathing and egg laying provided endless entertainment!
