Hello. My name is Nicole and two weeks ago I decided to get some chickens. :)
I have 4 unknown breed pullets, 2 Conchrin bantams (thinking one female one male), and 2 pullet Leghorns. They're all getting so big.
Working on getting a coop for them, as they are getting too big for their brooder box.

The one bantam chick has me worried. It's feathers have been coming in sporadic and scruffy. Definitely not as full or cosmetically pretty as the other bantam. Could this be an underlying issue?

Maybe the little bantam is younger than the others. I think it is very pretty. Give it time, when the others are looking like gangly teenagers, the slow one will be blooming her heart out. The chick in the last photo looks like it may be a frizzle.

I'm glad you joined our "flock!"

The chick in the last photo appears to be a frizzle, which would explain why its feathers look strange.

Oh my goodness! They are so cute!! Welcome! This is a fabulous site you'll love. So many people with so much knowledge about chickens it'll amaze you.
