Hi everyone, I am a new member and a new chicken owner, I swore I did not want or like chickens and now I am the proud owner of three! I guess when they say never say never they are right. I have viewed many sites, but choose this one because it is the one that felt the most like home. Love the information too. Hope to have more to add as time goes by. Glad to be here.
 


This is a great welcoming thread! There are many great threads. You can go to your state thread, see what's up there. There are many threads that are just for fun..yes, chickens are talked about at times, but there are so many fun things to do here. The random photo thread is fun. If you want to share photos of your chickens, there are threads of what breeds you have.

Welcome to BYC. Glad you decided to join our flock. That's definitely the way things often happen in life. It seems like every time I state definitively that I am not going to do something, I end up having to do it. :o) Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. LOL you sound like me! I once told myself I didn't like or want chickens. Then once I fell in love with them I told myself I'd only get one or two. Eight chickens later, here I am loving it!
