We are in Wyoming. We have 10 Australorp and 5 adopted girls that we think are Copper and Black Moran, Americana, a little gray girl, and 2 that look kindof like a cross between an Australorp and a Moran. Americana is very shy, the Moran is a secret bully and the Gray just wants to get along. The 2 questionable ones are mean bullies. We finally seperated 4 of the 5 from the rest of our girls. They might be dinner this fall. We are thankful for this website and will use your wisdom to help us be better chicken raisers. 1 of our Australorp has been lethargic and we are thinking maybe she's getting ready to molt. The other one has a bald butt. It looks like a red pin cushion. She is still eating great and is laying. She's bigger than most of our other girls but is very passive. Any ideas about our bald butt girl? Her name is Rita..
