We have 2 wild chickens (we do not know breed but we saved them as chicks from being killed like the other chickens). One is for sure a rooster but he has all white feet which I have never seen before and just curious if anyone else has seent his or knows anything about it? Also the 2nd wild chickens appears to be a hen but constantly fights with the rooster so we think it may also be a rooster. Any tips on how to tell if its a rooster if they dont have a large comb or any sign of a beard? Worried we may have to cut one of them loose if they are both roosters :-( Also will chickens cross breed? Like will our store bought pullets and the wild rooster mate?

Some of the chicken breeds that originated in the UK have white legs. Also, Faverolles, originally from France. What color are the feathers on the one with white legs?

You can try looking at pictures over at www.Feathersite.com, but it has a lot of breeds to go through. It would be quicker to post a picture here, if you can. Some breeds have very small combs, others have very large combs.
