I am expecting to have brindles & blacks in the litter and most(if not all) should be broken marked like the parents

OMG they are just adorable! The local SPCA has a male mouse for adoption and I keep debating but since we have 8 female rats I think that DH would say we are at our limit on rodents lol


Oh and are you feeding them a type of SueBee's mix? And I cant wait to see the baby photos!

According to my husband I overpassed my rodent limnit along time ago,but I was breeding rats when we first met,so he knew what he was getting into,lol.
I've been breeding rats for over 6 years now & now I'm getting into breeding mice as well.

I make all of my rodents food, its so much cheaper for me and better for them.
I'll have tons of pictures once they get here

Are mice and rats anything like hamsters and gerbils in the fact that given the chance they will just nail yah with a good bite? I know it depends on the animal but it seems most small rodents like to bite. And I really wish I could find someone locally that has fancy mice...I would love to have some

I personally beleive that rats make the best pets out of other rodents. I've rarely been bitten by a rat & when I have,its usually my fault.
Mice that come from breeers tend to be more easily handled,then mice from petstores.
Both rats & mice make great pets.

They are great pets, they dont smell no where near as bad as hamsters either lol They have awesome wire cages that are SO neat to decorate! The litter is here(born yesterday) but I dont look into the nest until day 3, so I dont know how many she had yet.
