New Neighbor dogs

I will not let my girls free range when I am not home anymore. I live in a very rural location and free ranging has been fine until today. I know there is always a risk. Some new neighbors let their dogs roam... Which we will have to talk to them about. We keep our dog in the yard with a buried electric fence. The dogs killed one of my chickens today. I was not home. I am very sad.

I'm so sorry about your chickens. Have you talked to your neighbor about it?

Definitely have to have a talk with them. Take a pic of there dogs in your yard, so they can't say it couldn't be there dogs. Tell them laws are in place about dogs killing livestock. If it keeps happening, give there dog back to them feet first.
