new nesting boxes for coop i bought

Hi guys...I bought a real nice 10x4 coop which is about 8 feet tall to the apex of the A frame roof. It has a nice window on the back which opens and a good quality front door with metal mesh for ventilation. Only problem is the CRAPPY nesting boxes which are inside of it. Woeful would be one description.

Anyways I am going to rip them all out today and start again. I want to put the nesting boxes on the outside of the coop as i have seen others do. If anyone has any design ideas they want to share or pics of what they have done that would really help since i am carpentry impaired.

Use the search Aran . There is an old post somwhere with dimensions and a side pic . I printed it out quite some time ago. Try keywords Workable nest box design. That is what was posted when I found it. Erin M

thanks alot mate! I tried searching "nesting box" and got SOOOOOOOOOOOOO many hits it was ridiculous but not what I was after. I will try your idea.
