New not new to chickens

Hey ya'll GreatGrandPa here! We're keeping chickens first time in over 35 years. Rhode Island Reds hens, they've been laying eggs for about 1 month. Raised them from chicks. We lost one to a virus or something. The rest are healthy. We bought two more chicks to raise. One's a Cockrell RIR we're looking to trade for another pullet RIR.

Hiya, and welcome to BYC!

BYC can seem daunting at first, but it doesn't take long once you dig around.

The two most used places in BYC are under the Forums tab and the Articles tab, up top. After you familiarize yourself with what's in the forums, especially, you'll feel more at home here. We have a Buy~Sell~Trade forum you'll see down towards the bottom where you can try sell or rehome your rooster. I've had my best luck though in my state/local poultry groups on Facebook. If you don't have an account there, some just make one for buying/selling chickens.
