Hi everyone, I was a member years ago under an old email. Happy to be back again. I have kept chooks for years and currently have 10 middle aged hens, some Heritage breeds and others mixed or commercial breeds from friend's who could no longer keep them.
We live on a small acreage and I'm looking this year at adding quail and perhaps a couple of ducks to our menagerie.
I also have a husband, two kids and a white fluffy dog :)

I really don't know how long I could manage without my friends on Backyard Chickens..
