Hi,
I'm a new user on BYC, but I've loved this site for a few months now. I don't have chickens yet but I'm hoping to get some soon. I have been raising Muscovy ducks for three years. Currently, I have 16 ducks, out of which seven are juveniles. They are free-range in our backyard during the day, but during the night they are penned up because of predators. The duck in my avatar picture is Lilac, mother of three of the juveniles. She adopted the other four when their mother died.
I'm trying to raise them as naturally as possible. They are not eating any commercial feed, only forage, grains, and scraps from our garden and kitchen.
