I have dealt with many pests and predators, coyotes, raccoons, possums, stray dogs, owls, hawks. Today as I check on my due broody girl in her broody doghouse and pen, what do I find in there but a baseball sized yellow jacket nest! I panicked because they were dive bombing the baby chicks, which were cheeping in terror, and I somehow managed to get the whole nest, sans 2 angry workers, in an oatmeal tube from the trash.

I didn't get a single sting, but I had to grab the broody and chicks and move them to a new location as the few remaining workers were MAD!

I would get RAID AND BLAST EM!!

They were almost directly above the broody, I would have blasted the chicks too. Now that they are captured, tomorrow me and that plastic bin are going to sit in the sun. Me drinking a beer and those bees dying from the heat. Sounds like a good day to me.

WD 40 will work spray them with the little straw thingy and cover them back up and they will die pretty quick.
