New Peahens not eating or drinking!!!!!

Hello, I just recently acquired some new peahens yesterday to add to my flock. I have both of them kept separate for a few days before I introduce them to my other two. I have noticed that this is day 2 and it doesn't seem to me that they have eaten or drank any water that I have laid out for them. Its in the summer and hot so I am worried about them. Is this normal behavior when they are in a new place? I have even tried showing them water and nothing. Thanks.
