New PEEPS! w/ a couple of photos.....

My newest peeps arrived this morning. These are new breeds for me, Cuckoo Marans, Black Copper Marans and Barnevelders.

I don't have photos of my Barnevelders yet, however this little gal in the (mostly) yellow, is the ONLY different one of the bunch. And I ordered more than one of each breed/variety. So I'm a little confused?

I don't know how much of a variation in color they would be, but maybe there's a chance they threw in a surprise chick.

Possibly so? I received the correct amount I ordered, I suppose just watch and wait, huh?

So I got these day olds from My Pet Chicken. And I have been looking around on their site to try and figure out what the yellow and gray/black one is and the only thing I can come up with is possibly an Exchequer Leghorn?

Any one have any other opinions??

She does have yellow legs with no feathers on them, I do know some Marans have the feathered legs and some do not. But, I would LOVE a Blue Copper or Blue Splash Marans

, but I don't think that's what she is?

I'm surprised no one else has chimed in here. You could try posting those pictures under the what breed is this section (I think that's what it's called). There's some really good eyes out there that are great at helping decide what breed and gender they are.

Well, one member suggested maybe a Columbian Wyandotte, another suggested Columbian Plymouth Rock and then one other suggested Silver Lakenvelder.

I got these chicks from My Pet Chicken, they do sell the CW's and SL's, but not the CPRs. However, she can't be a SL becasue she doesn't have the slate legs and feet. Maybe Columbian Wyandotte? Still not sure though. We just may have to wait a couple more weeks!LOL!! Oh the wait!!
