New pullets - a silkie and a copper Marans

I may be adopting a 6 week old silkie or and maybe a black copper Marans to add to my young flock of the same age. I have a polish, a Barnevelder, a silver laced Wyandotte, a Cochin, and a speckled Sussex.

Anything I should know about either breed ?

I actually decided not to take either one. I was going to adopt from a local woman whose been doing chicken rescue (she took two of my “accidental roosters” from the day old chicks I ordered), but I don’t yet have an extra quarantine area ready. I still have the remaining 5 pullets in a coop separate from my older gals until it’s time to integrate, and my husband would have had to build ANOTHER coop to keep the silkie/ Maran for quarantine and we just aren’t ready for that. I’d rather we are able to take our time, build out a quarantine coop the way we really want it and then adopt additional pullets. I didn’t want to do that to my husband.
