New rooster being mean with the hens...

I hear alot of suggestions of neosporin. I think if it's not too bad, try and dab on some of that. I'm still a new chicken mama, so that's all I got

Thankfully, the injuries I've seen so far have been miniscule.....

I just got a new roo myself. He's 4 months old, my pullets are a little over 2 months. The only real aggression problem I've had with him is at the roost. He thinks he has to have the entire top 4' roost all to himself! The first night was brutal! I only interferred twice, when he got especially rough with the girls. The next day, my son helped me put another roost up above the existing one, far enough up that he can't even begin to intimidate the girls when they want to roost. For two nights, I went out to the coop at the start of roosting time and very politely picked Larry (the roo) up off of the roost and placed him on his new "throne". Tonight when I went out there, he was up there on his own. I think everyone will be fine now, and by the time it gets cold out, they should have the whole pecking order thing worked out to where he can be down and snuggling with the girls to stay warm. I have to admit, it is pretty comical watching him do his little mating dance for the girls, and at this point, they couldn't care less. Thankfully, he's not rough on them (at least that I have seen) during the day. I check the girls every night, and so far, no injuries.
