This spring we added 3 new chicks to our group (making 6 total) and one of the new ones turned out to be a rooster. It’s a beautiful Easter egger but the past few weeks it has started to really pick on two of our other hens from the original flock. It’s to the point where their combs are bleeding at the end of the day, and one hen’s comb is looking pretty droopy ☹️. I’m worried about the stress that it’s putting on these two hens. Any tips on what we can do other than rehire the roo? We’re thinking of trying to separate him for a bit.

Can you keep him separated from your hens for about 2 to 3 months. Looks like he's going through his hormonal stage. Once he's over it he will calm down and it should be safe to return him to the flock.

Young roosters are just going through a phase they can't help themselves.
