New Rooster! is he a Wyandotte?

I had saved this guy from a man that was gonna kill him. I didn't have any roos til now so he is loving his 16 new girls. But what is he?

He looks like a Wyandotte cross. Are the feathers on the back of his always 'up', or was he nervous when you took the photo?

Nervous. I just retrieved him. And I caged him so he can get use to the surrounding.

Hmm really? I'm just so curious to know. I have multiple breeds of chickens and don't mind a cross. But he is so beautiful I was thinking of getting some hens of his breed
