Recently noticed that my dear dear Polish Crested is a roo but it's no biggie since I can keep him and was hoping for a new roo because my BR isn't nice enough to the hens and several have back-feather issues because of him despite the fact that there should be enough hens.
Anyways, this little guy has been a favorite of everyone from day one so he got more attention and tolerates being picked up a little if he doesn't miss out on time for foraging. Real sweet rooster, plus fun coloring, from Murray McMurray. I got their variety of rare breeds hen pack and ended up getting a straight run bonus chick plus two died and we gave six to our friends so we have eight now and they are all doing well! They are approximately 2.5 months old or so.
