I got some new seramas the other day, and they are still pretty freaked out. I tried to give them some treats to no avail. They aren't even really eating the regular food I am giving them. Of course no eggs since they got here either. Is there anything I can do to help calm these birds down, and get them eating better?

Thanks

When I first got my chickens, some of them were like not eating well. I gave mash. (their food mixed with water) They really like that. But I should warn you, stand back because it's messy. They have a lot of fun with it. Especially if it's a little soupy.

Hope this helps.

I tried a little cantloupe, some yougurt, and I am feeding them crumbles. They didn't touch the treats at all, but are starting to eat the crumble now. Not much though.

My little banties like boiled egg yolk, I think I might make them some.

Debbie
