(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? Yes fairly new. I’ve helped my family with their chickens but this is my first time owning a chicken.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? 1 shamo chicken
(3) What breeds do you have? Shamo I am pretty sure
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? The bond
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? Crafts and building things
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I’m a mom of all boys. We found an injured chic in our yard, I took it in and tried helping it, the wound was getting worse so I took it to the vet, close to 1000$ later he is mostly healed. Or she I’m not sure. I believe he’s 8 weeks old now. 99% sure he is a shamo chicken. As he was growing I realized he didn’t look like a normal chicken. I have done so much research so far and joined this group to learn more
