New Silkie chick

Guys, I need some help. I bought a new silkie chick today and I wanted to know what you all thought about it. Is it a pullet or a cockerel? I believe it is a blue partridge and going off color I say it is a pullet but not sure. New to chickens, these are my first. I also need to know the best way to add her to my flock. I only have 5 and this one makes 6 and need to know the best way to introduce them so no one gets hurt. This chick is suppose to 3 1/2 months old and mine are 3 months old. Please help.Any guesses to boy or girl?

I don't know and hope someone will be able to help. I had a black silkie and was pretty sure she was a girl from her round crest but wasn't 100 percent sure until she laid an egg.

I'm hoping for a girl. I have 3 cockerels already and really don't want or need another one. I think the red coloring on it would be brighter if it was a boy. Fingers crossed.
