New Silkie Owner here lol

So Im not new to chickens, just new to silkies. We drove out to Meyer Hatchery and picked up 12 chicks out of their assorted bantam pen and 4 are Silkies. Ha Yeah even though I said no chicks this year, a hawk picked off 3 hens so new coop time and well have to get more chicks right

So anyways, I think (now Im just guessing here) that I have a blue, a red and 2 Partridge. (Ha I also got 5 Millie D'Uccle Chicks *totally my fav!** and 3 EE bantam chicks.)

I hear Silkies are nice chickens. What does everyone think of them? Do they go broody? What r the roos like? I know my Millie Roo can be a little roudy sometimes, my RIR roo is fairly calm but his brothers were not so they went to frezer camp, same with the Red Sexlink roo.

Silkies are GREAT broodies. I even had one hatch a turkey egg. The rooster I had was a nice fella. Wish I never let them go.
