New silkie owner

Hi there,

I am brand new to the chicken world, after much research I decided on getting some Silkie chicks. The breeder lives not far from me and I picked up these chicks last week. They are gorgeous! Still in a brooder at the moment and for a while as winter approaches.

I see lots of mentions of specific silkie colours, however am a bit clueless about what is what.

I know we have one white chick, but the other two - one looks gray and the other looks brown and black. I will post some photos - if possible can you tell me what colours they are likely to be?

It may be too early to tell but I am curious about our new little ones. Thanks in advance. Also any particular advice on this breed would be well received

It might be dark blue, but I am not sure..Most likely black.

I will try and get a better one today, it doesn't stay still long
