Hello, I am located in Burton Michigan and started raising my own birds spring of 2012. I already had much knowledge since I had friends with byc's. But I had a question I needed help with, I'll post that in another thread.
Originally I built a movable coop/run but decided to move to a permanent location and add a bigger run to turn it into a fully cycling chicken composter. I'm really happy with the results and I'll post some pics later. My laidies are really happy with it as well with all the kitchen scraps, grass clipings, leaves, straw, weeds, coop litter and all that bring in more bugs and worms for them. It's amazing how fast my 7 birds can shred a huge mound of leaves. Anyway, I'll post my question in a new thread. Thanks
