Hello everyone, I live in Colorado and have never been around chickens let alone owned any until about 3 weeks ago. That is when we went and bought 8 baby chickens. My husband however had chickens as a kid so that helps a little. I never imagined myself ever wanting chickens but the more I learn about them the more excited I am. We have 4 kids and I think raising chickens will be a good experience for them as well. I never realized how much information there was on raising chickens until we got the chicks and my brain is starting to hurt trying to learn everything I can.
