one doe gave birth to two kids, she would only feed one, we started bottle feeding the other
we switched over to whole milk after reading about replacers, she is 11 days old bright, bouncy, i have been feeding her 8oz at a feeding she seems to want more should i wait till two weeks to increase to 10oz? she pees like a race horse and her poo is yellow and soft
(baby poo) she seems in good health.

i also put a handful of hay in the cage with her,she does nibble at it, and started to put a liitle sweet feed in a bowl, i take her out to the pen when i feed the others so she can observe the feeding frenzy.

any input i would appreciate, the whole milk formula i make is.

1 gal. whole milk (remove 4 cups)
1 can evaporated milk
1 cup butter milk
1 container plain yogurt

seems to work well .

The volume of milk fed always needs to be based on a kid's weight, not age. Use this chart to help you out. It sounds like she is doing well. As she grows, she needs more calories, so you might already need to feed her more milk each day.

well i was giving giving her 8oz 4x a day, i have increased to 9 she downs it like nothing i will wiegh her and try to figure it out. some charts are by days others by wieght.

Not all breeds are the same size, nor do all kids grow at the same rate. Weight is a better value to determine if kids are taking in enough calories for their individual needs. Weighing kids on a regular basis also helps you make sure they are growing well.
