Welcome. The best advice I can give you is narrowed down to four words "plenty of secured space". Providing plenty of room - much more than you think you need, will solve so many issues and make your and your chickens lives so much better. Premanufactured coops will not give you enough space. A converted shed is a good option by adding nesting boxes, roosting bars and more ventilation. Hardware cloth is your best friend including a hardware cloth apron. If you want details about anything aforementioned, just ask us.
