new to backyard chicken life in LOS ANGELES

Hey yall its me romeo foxx im new to the chicken life. I will be getting my chickens on the 8th so yall help me keep them alive. I will have a EASTER EGGER and a NEW HAMPSHIRE i am on a fixed income ( broke ) lol so any good ideas that will work for me in the LOS ANGELES AREA i will love to hear about.
