Ayam Cemani Mommy

I am new to the community. I just recently became a chicken mommy, and I am very excited. I always find great advice on here from everyone when I search for advice. I thought I may as well join you smart people.
1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
My grandparents raised me and we had lots of chickens. This is my first flock of my own. I just got them a few weeks ago.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
I currently have 4 6wk old ayam cemani babies. I also have a 3 month old ayam cemani rooster.
(3) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
It is a great hobby. The chickens really make you feel needed. Lol It is also relaxing to me. I just love to take care of them. They are so much fun to watch and interact with.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I love spending time with my family. I love crafts and making things with my own two hands.(which comes in handy with chickens.)
I love cheering for my son at his football games.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I have a wonderful son (15yrs old) who surprises me everyday with how smart he is. My husband always helps me with everything and he also adores the flock.
7)Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I found BYC on google. Everytime I looked for advice there BYC was with such wise tips from other people who love their chickens.
