-I have raised chickens for 15 years with my parents but just decided to have my own backyard chickens! I just got my backyard chickens in March 2017.

-I have currently 6 chickens!

-When doing my research before decided to have chickens of my own I stalked BackYardChckens.com for months to decide on breeds and all of the other information that sucked me down the "BYC" wormhole.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
-Hanging out with my dogs, chickens, and cat
-Avid hiker and backpacker

-I have two giant dogs. I have one Husky-lab-german shepherd 2 years old and a mastiff-german short haired pointer boxer who is 9 months old. I also have a sassy introverted black cat. I am a special education teacher who loves my job! I live in a neighborhood outside of city limits but still a "urban chicken lady".
