Hi!
I am new to the world of chickens and have had many questions which this wonderful thread has helped in so many ways. My daughter and I got started with 7 Silkie chicks as a 4-H project in January 2020. We are having so much fun watching them grow and find their individual personalities. We currently have 1 hen who is laying eggs, 1 rooster, and 5 yet to be identified ☺. We also have a dog and cat that don't seem to be bothered about having feathery friends around. I can't seem to find a lot of information about Silkies on the internet so I look forward to learning everything I can about these mysterious birds from others on this thread.
