New To Backyard farming

Hi there everyone..Im Backyardmomma3 and I'm super excited to be a part of this group, I hope to gain experience and educate myself on backyard farming through all of you folks on here..
I live in Southern Ontario,originally from a small northern town,and I'm literally living my dream,my husband and I live in an old beautiful farmhouse that were currently renovating,ive got HUGE gardens,and recently added chickens to the farm,something new but very much a love affair so to speak..I absolutely love having chickens,the sound they make,their behaviors,personalities ive already gotten more from them than I could have ever thought possible..lol okay so I officially sound like a weirdo now..lol

lol..My husband keeps saying ill never be able to handle it when its time to make them dinner because ive named them all.. Even my boys love them,often spending hours in the run or in the yard playing with them,feeding them grass and bugs..idk theres just something about it that's not only fun,but calming,interesting,and very satisfying.
