Hello all. My name is Christina. I live in Illinois and had chickens for years growing up. I always hand raised them and they were my pets as well as egg producers for the family. I haven't had any in a while but recently rescued a 3 day old chick with a dislocated hip which is why I'm here. Needing advice. I have been trying to convince my hubby for awhile to let me get chickens again and this may just be the open door for it since he was the one who begged me to fix the little chick instead of having her euthanized. I am a rescuer of all animals (including the occasional human) so I took on the challenge.
