Hi new here and new to raising chickens. Have gotten quite a bit of info from here already so figured why not join and say hi!! My flock consists of 6 red sex link (I think) hens as a white silkie rooster. I have been around farms alot of my life but was never really responsible for much of their care.
So far so good it goes. They are new so locked in coop until they know it's home, then they will have the run of the yard. 2 hens escaped on my wife yesterday she caught one and sir top um hat called her back, so maybe they don't need to be locked up much longer. They really want out.
Anyway it is great to be here and I'm sure I'll learn alot. I am always open to knowledge so if you have any tips or tricks let em rip. Thanks!!!
