Hello! My name is Courtney and I'm new to BYC. Last summer, my husband and I relocated with our son to Arkansas, to start a small farm. We're still in the process of building our house, but already have a garden in progress, a few goats and a small chicken flock. We started with a flock last year, but had some theft issues, so we're starting again with a safer, more secure coop area and new chicks.
I love the chickens we have, and the new chicks we've started in the past few weeks! We've got a mixed flock, mostly consisting of large fowl, but with two rescue bantams that add a lot of fun to the flock. I'm looking forward to learning more, talking to others with chickens and learning more about the breeds we have.
