New to BYC (but not backyard chickens 😉)

Long time lurker, first time engaging! I have a smol flock of 10 RIR, mystic marans, and ameraucanas who are almost ready to lay! I’m on a homestead with other animals working with me (dairy goats and bees) but chickens were my first experience with livestock. Started with 40 hens and 4 roos (we bought them along with our home in 2020) and I’ve been raising hens only since.

Excited to be a new part of this community!

Wonderful. We have thought of having dairy goats or sheep. I thought it would be easier than beginning with a cow. Thanks for sharing the pictures.
