I am new to raising chickens. I have four chicks that are three weeks old and seven more who are in their first week. The first four are from TSC and the second group were shipped from the hatchery as a group of 10. I had three losses within the first 24 hours, the remaining 7 are looking and acting quite healthy, active,and perky. I have two separate brooder setups, inside the house for now. I have been reading your forums for about six months and gain my most valuable information right here at BYC. Thank you to everyone for sharing your experiences and allowing folks like me to learn.
