New to BYC

Hi, I have found some good information on this site since getting the chickens and finally decided to join. My family had chickens when I was young, but I only remember gathering eggs, and feeding them. We now have eight Rhode Island Reds that are about two months old. We are hoping to not only get eggs from the girls, but compost the waste for my future garden.

You can't always depend on hens laying lots of eggs but, you can rest assured they will provide plenty of chicken poo for your garden.
