Hello!

I am brand new to Backyard Chickens and wanted to take a few minutes to introduce myself:

(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? My family raised chickens for eggs when I was a teenager. I am now a bit older and moving to Keene, NH and am thinking about having a few hens for eggs

(2) How many chickens do you have right now? None...yet

(3) What breeds do you have? N\A

(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? I found chickens to be fun and quirky. They tend to have quite the personality!

(5) What are some of your other hobbies? I am getting my online business going selling all-natural beauty products from face creams to bath salts and a few things in between. I love to cook and am told I am quite the creative cook which spawned into this business endeavor

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. We have an 18-year-old indoor cat named Daisy. She's quite lazy and enjoys her cat naps. I currently work as a Customer Support Coordinator full time for a Pharmaceutical Software company based out of London but have a headquarters in MA. We will be moving to NH in a month or so and I am hopeful that my business will get off the ground and make enough income that I can retire from that job and do what I am passionate about.

(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community? I found BYC by Googling having chickens in Keene NH...I am looking for guidance in keeping chickens on my new property. I have a good idea about the care and such as I was responsible for caring for our chickens at a much younger age but need a refresher. BYC appears to be a place for great info.

Thank you and I look forward to 'meeting' folks!
