Hey everyone. I have had chickens for almost ten years now. I got my first clutch when I was in kindergarten. I have 16 chickens at the moment and am about to have over ten added to the flock. i found this website when doing some research on chickens a while ago and just now joined because I figured I could reach out to people with more knowledge on these fascinating birds. I still have so much to learn about them.I have some barred rocks, Easter eggers, a silver laced Wyandotte, a buff Orpington, and I have one chicken (her name is Hope) that i have no idea what breed she is and she is an amazing mother and I have two babies from her that are fully grown and she just had another clutch. Her daughter that is fully grown is about to have a clutch of her own and I’m excited about that but I really would like to find out what breed Hope is because she has really cool markings and it seems like she is a mutt of several breeds. She looks a little bit like a Friesan but I’m still not sure. Later on I will upload a picture of her and let you guys try to help me figure out what breed she is. I feel like this website has a good community that I can learn from. Thank you for reading this literal ESSAY and taking some time to help me become a better chicken owner! :)
